The SSC men's and women's golf team competed at the Lark Invitational in Wichita, Kansas. The men's golf team placed 2nd overall and sophomore, Bryson Parker tied for 2nd in individuals. The women's golf team placed 3rd overall and sophomore, Peyton Black placed 4th in individuals.

Trojan Golf - Evan Stafford

Seminole State's Evan Stafford shot an even-par 72 as a Tuesday first-round total pacing the Trojans to a 311 team-score and 14th in the standings at the 2021 NJCAA Men's Division II National Golf Championship in Plymouth, Indiana. The 72 also places him in a tie for 10th in the Individual Medalist scoring. The Trojans will continue to compete through Friday in the 72-hole tournament to crown a 2021 team champion and individual medalist champion at Swan Lake Resort's Indiana National Golf Club.

The Men's Golf team finished second in the D II South Central District and has qualified for the National Championship.

Mason Coulston advances to nationals with round of 70 and runner-up finish!

The SSC men’s golf team competed in the NJCAA regional this week at Eagle’s Bluff CC, near Tyler, TX. Both Coulston and Bryson Terry positioned themselves through the first 36 holes to advance to nationals…… During the 10 hours of continuous play on Monday Coulston recorded rounds of 80 and 75 while Terry posted 79 and 76. Terry fought hard on day 2, but fell a little short finishing 15th overall and 2nd alternate to advance to nationals. He finished with 238.

The men’s golf team competed in NCAA DII DBU’s event this week. The event was held at Hackberry Creek CC where the greens were running at over a 12 on the stimpmeter……. Just 1 player in the field of nearly 100 managed to break par. Mason Coulston led the Trojans in scoring for the 54 holes with a score of 241. Bryson Terry recorded the low score for the team on day 2, improving his previous round by 7 strokes. Next up for the Trojans is regional play at Eagle’s Bluff CC on May 6th.

The men’s golf team competed in the Mustang Invitational in Maumelle, AR over spring break, finishing 8th as a team with scores of 329 and 325 over 2 days. Mason Coulston led the team in scoring, just missing a top 10 at 12th place with scores of 79 and 74, improving 5 shots on day 2. The Trojans return to the course in Dallas on April 1st.
